Psychology

PsychologyStudents majoring in Psychology at Penn State Behrend explore many areas of the field, gaining the skills to solve problems and help people be more productive in their personal and work lives. Whether students choose to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology or a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Penn State Behrend, they will possess a solid background in the dimensions of psychology and be well prepared to enter the workforce or pursue graduate education. The B.S. takes a quantitative approach favored by students who want to apply their degree within business or the sciences while the B.A. structures the major within a liberal arts framework.

Psychology majors have opportunities to get hands-on, real world experience in a wide variety of settings such as through internships and community outreach. Students work closely with faculty and assist on original research projects.
