The best way to learn about a college is to visit the campus. Penn State Behrend offers several ways for you to check out our beautiful campus any time of year. For information on getting to campus, places to stay while you're here, and Erie, Pa., check out the links at left. If you visit us before you apply for admission we will waive your $50 application fee. Unfortunately, we can’t refund any fees that you’ve already paid.
Summer and ice cream go together. So do summer and Penn State Behrend. This is the perfect time to learn more about the college at one of our informal-yet-informative Admissions events. Spend a Summer Day or Evening programs include an information fair, presentations on admissions, financial aid, and academics and a campus walking tour. End the day with scoops of Penn State’s famous Berkey Creamery ice cream!
Individual appointments with an admissions counselor can be scheduled for Monday through Friday throughout the year. The appointment will include a campus tour with a current student. High school students interested in meeting individually with a financial aid representative or faculty member should call our office to schedule at 814-898-6100 or e-mail Behrend Admissions. Students interested in meeting with an athletic coach should contact the coach directly to schedule an appointment. Prospective athletes can fill out a form online or contact our Athletics Office at 814-898-6163.

Just starting your college search? Never visited our campus before? Get to Know Us by attending this general information session and a campus tour. During the academic year, these sessions are offered on select Fridays and school holidays. During the summer months, these events are held on most weekdays, June 26 through August 14.The visit includes a presentation given by an admissions counselor and a campus tour given by one of our current student. If you'd like to try the food on campus, lunch is on us! Stop by the Admission Office for a free dining hall pass either before or after your visit.

This Saturday program offers students the opportunity to meet with faculty, staff, and students in an information fair. Presentations from academic programs and other departments provide a wealth of information to students and their families. The event includes a student-guided campus tour. Get the inside scoop on Penn State Behrend with a student-guided tour, offered most days throughout the academic year, Monday through Friday, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. During the summer months, tours are offered Monday through Friday, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
