What’s one thing you could not live without? My cell phone – it’s my life line to everyone!

Why did you choose Penn State Behrend? It’s a beautiful campus, close to home, and my brother went here.

What other colleges did you apply to? Lycoming University

What do you like best about being a student here? The emphasis on undergraduate research

What do you think about living on campus? I definitely enjoy and recommend it. It’s convenient and provides opportunities not available to commuter students.

How are you adjusting to being away from home? I talked to students in my residence hall and classes to make friends and created a second family here.

What’s your favorite food from Bruno’s or Dobbins Dining Hall? The tap grill specials at Bruno's, especially chicken wraps and the chicken quesadillas

What is there to do for fun outside of class? We have so many clubs here at Behrend that you can easily find something to do that you enjoy. Lion Entertainment Board also hosts comedians, musicians, and late-night events as well as the Office of Student Activities holding speakers (such as Bill Cowher).

What are your plans for after you graduate? I plan on getting my master’s degree in College Student Personnel to work for a university in either the Office of Student Activities or Residence Life.

What advice do you have for students who are looking for colleges? Visit the colleges and talk to students that go there because they can tell you what the school is really like.
