Accounting
Must be fifth semester standing minimum and have completed Business core courses.

Biology
Students often take aspects of their internships and continue them as research projects.

Business, Liberal Arts, and Sciences
Must be fifth semester standing minimum and have completed Business core courses.

Communication and Media Studies
Must be fifth semester standing minimum. Although communication faculty prefer you complete summer between your junior/senior years or during your senior year.

Computer Engineering
If the internship experience is during the academic year, you agree to: 1) work no more than fifteen (15) hours/week and 2) take no more than 15 credits including the internship course.
The expereince must be approved by the co-op or internship coordinator before or at the start of the assignment. This includes a statement of intended work along with the supervisors approval.
Must be engineering activities. No drafting, lab technicial support, data entry, sourcing, etc.

Electrical Engineering

International Business
Must be fifth semester standing minimum and have completed Business core courses
Successful completion of ECON 002 and ECON 004
Cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5 or higher. For some internships, completion of additional coursework may be required as a prerequisite. Students with a GPA below 2.5 must receive a special exception from the program chair to be eligible for internship credits. No more than three internship credits may be applied to fulfill graduation requirements without special exception.
Either successful completion (final grade of "C" or higher) OR concurrent enrollment in one or more international business classes (e.g., ECON 470, FIN 407, MGMT 461, MKTG 445).

Depending on field of internship, the credits will likely be with your other major.

Management
Must be fifth semester standing minimum., 2.5 GPA, and have completed Management 300 and one other upper level management course.
