“The Fundamentals of Fundraising,”  a certificate program designed for nonprofit administrators, fundraising professionals, volunteers with fundraising responsibility or anyone who wants to learn more about philanthropy, will be offered this Spring at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, in collaboration with the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Introduction to Plastics Engineering Technology (Online) - Course Description

Educational Goals: 

The ten-week online course will introduce the participant to fundamental concepts and properties of plastic materials and the influence of chemical structure on polymer properties. It will also introduce the participants to the primary types of plastic processes used in industry today. The participants will gain a better understanding of plastic materials and their importance in today's society.

Medical Product Development - Course Description

Who Should Attend: 

This seminar provides attendees with a two-day overview of the plastic medical device design process. It is primarily focused an integrated new product development process beginning with product ideation and continuing through to production handoff. It is appropriate for product managers, engineers, marketing professionals, and management.

DOE for Injection Molding - Course Description

Educational Goals: 

DOEs can be a valuable technique to use in the validation and production of plastic parts. This workshop has been developed to give participants practical experience in setting up, carrying out, and interpreting DOEs utilizing both the Penn State Behrend processing lab and the computer lab (primarily using Microsoft Excel and Minitab).
