Associate Degree in Nursing
The associate degree in Nursing is a concentrated two-year program that includes a combination of science, liberal arts, and focused nursing courses. After earning an associate degree students are eligible to take the national examination for licensure (NCLEX) as registered nurses.
A.S. to B.S. in Nursing
The four-year Associate to Bachelor degree in Nursing is designed to prepare nurses who will provide care in a variety of health care settings including hospitals, private practice, long-term care facilities, clinics, and other health care and community agencies
Accelerated R.N. to B.S. in Nursing
The 3-Semester Accelerated R.N. to B.S. nursing program at Penn State Behrend allows diploma and associate degree-prepared nurses to obtain a bachelor’s degree in one year—less than half the time it takes to complete a typical R.N. to B.S. completion program.
