Psi Chi is a national organization dedicated to advancing the science of Psychology. Benefits of membership in Psi Chi include: Official recognition of the accomplishments of the members, grants for research, national and regional conventions, and research competitions. Undergraduates and graduates who are interested in the study of psychology and who meet the minimum qualifications are invited to apply for membership. Psi Chi Requirements for Membership
The purpose of the Psychology Club is to provide a fun way for those interested in psychology to get to know each other and to learn more about the field. All students interested in psychology regardless of major are invited to join. A nominal $5.00 membership fee is assessed each semester to help support the club's many activities.
Do you enjoy working with children and adolescents? Would you like to sharpen your leadership skills? If you answered yes to either of these questions, you might be the perfect candidate for joining Penn State Behrend's mentoring team. This leadership opportunity is available for committed Behrend students who are willing to build into the lives of local children. All training and resources will be provided. Selected Behrend mentors will work together as a team to facilitate weekly programmatic activities with children at local nearby school. Car pooling will be arranged. Once selected, Behrend students will collectively decide which day of the week works best for them to work with the children.
