He graduated from Wattsburgh High School and from the Erie County Vocational-Technical School with a degree in Tool and Die Making. He completed a four-year apprenticeship at Tetra Tool Inc., in Erie, PA, and is certified in Heat Treatment of Tool Steels, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding. Glenn is also proficient in Advanced Drafting, Jig and Fixture, Mazak Programming, G-Code Programming, Mitsubishi Wire EDM, Mastercam 10, and Sharnoa Programming. Glenn came to work at Penn State Behrend in 2001 with 25 years of experience in design, building and repairing of die cast dies, powdered metal dies, and high tolerance plastic injection molds for the connector industry.
