Ralph Sprang joined the faculty of Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, and the School of Engineering in August 2009. He is a lecturer in engineering in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology department. Mr. Sprang holds a B.S. in computer engineering from the Ohio State University, an M.S. in electrical engineering from the Johns Hopkins University, and the Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. He came to Penn State Behrend with more than twenty years experience in a range of industries that provided him with a strong background in microprocessors, digital electronics, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA), computer architecture, and software.
