Tested PLC and motors lab computers and loaded new software to them for use in classes for Fall 2005 semester.
Consulted with MET students (working on plastics press research) concerning noise pickup by strain gauge transducers. My analysis: cause is improper writing practice, and unsuppressed voltage transients. Solution: Use twisted and shielded wire, and follow proper grounding procedures, 2002.
Donated A.C. Motor, and consulted on design of control circuits for Behrend Observatory door opener project being done by MET students, 2001.
Consulting on Rotomold machine in Zurn Building for Dave Loker and Rotomold Design team, 1998 and Spring 1999.
