Local students proved today that legos aren't just fun for preschoolers. Teams of 4th through 8th grade kids competed in a Lego League regional tournament at Penn State Behrend. They put their programmed lego robots to the test, showing off what they've been working on for months. About 300 students filled the Junker Center, as judges watched the robots make their way through an obstacle course. Coaches said Lego League provides building blocks for careers in engineering. This was the 11th year that Behrend hosted the competition.
