Erie filmmaker John C. Lyons will screen his new project, “There Are No Goodbyes,” at 9 p.m. Friday, July 12, on the Reed Union Building lawn. The program is free and open to the public.
Cast and crew members will participate in a question-and-answer session at the end of the film, which has content equivalent to a PG-13 rating.
“There Are No Goodbyes” is the second feature-length film by Lyons. It premiered in April at the Athens International Film + Video Festival. The film centers on Oliver (Matthew King), whose life takes an odd turn when a stranger recruits him for a mysterious series of tasks. A budding relationship with a young photographer (Jennifer Hooper) complicates the situation.
The program is sponsored by the Office of Student Activities and Lyons Den Productions. See more details.
