The 2014 Math Options Career Day will be held on May 13th
We are celebrating our 18th year!

2008 Math Options Career DayWelcome to the Math Options program, a math, science, technology, engineering, and business career day for seventh- and eighth-grade girls.

This program, an outreach service of Penn State Erie, The Behrend College's Continuing Education department, has been designed to provide information on careers in mathematics, engineering, technology, and the sciences to young women at a time when they are making important academic decisions. Girls from schools in Erie, Crawford, Potter, Venango, and Warren counties attend the Math Options program.

2008 Math Options Career DayOn May 8, 2013 The Office of Community and Workforce Programs hosted the 17th annual Math Options Career Day. Nearly 250 female students from forty Pennsylvania schools experienced interactive workshops while meeting women and men who work in STEM fields. Our keynote speakers, Melanie Ford, Lecturer in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Head of Engineering Outreach Center at Penn State Behrend, and Kimberly Hermann, assistant professor of Physics & Astronomy at Penn State Mont Alto, shared experiences and highlights from their own academic and professional careers.
