Penn State Behrend started the tradition of leaving a legacy and improving the college in some way with the Class of 2002. And at Penn State, almost every graduating class since 1861 made a memorable gift to the University. Since 2002, graduating Behrend seniors have generously given to these lasting gifts:
Flagpole and plaque memorializing two Behrend alumni who were victims of the 9/11 tragedy
and 2004: Behrend Lion Shrine and Lion Plaza
Benches outside of the Reed Union Building and Senat Hall
 Crabapple Trees at Behrend’s Entrance
and 2008 : Smith Chapel Meditation Garden and Seating
: Reed Lounge Renovations
 Art Piece Showcasing Behrend
Penn State Shield at Reed Union Building’s Outdoor Patio
Glenhill Pool Renovation and Fountain Project
 Mary Behrend Monument
