Senior Class Gifts

Penn State Behrend started the tradition of leaving a legacy and improving the college in some way with the Class of 2002. And at Penn State, almost every graduating class since 1861 made a memorable gift to the University. Since 2002, graduating Behrend seniors have generously given to these lasting gifts:

2002: Flagpole and plaque memorializing two Behrend alumni who were victims of the 9/11 tragedy

2003 and 2004: Behrend Lion Shrine and Lion Plaza

2005: Benches outside of the Reed Union Building, Senat Hall, and Mary Behrend Monument

2006: Crabapple Trees at Behrend’s Entrance

2007 and 2008: Smith Chapel Meditation Garden and Seating

2010: Photography Collage Wall Mural in Bruno's Cafe
