Graduate Research Assistantships
Full-time MBA students at Penn State Behrend are encouraged to apply for graduate assistantships which greatly defray the expenses of an education. Graduate assistants (GAs) receive:
- a full tuition waiver (more than $22,500 value)
- a monthly stipend ($13,000 to $17,000 per year)
- an opportunity to purchase health insurance at a group rate, and
- an excellent opportunity to enhance one's resume.
Although positions may vary, a graduate assistant typically works 20 hours per week beginning in the fall or summer semester and must plan to enroll as a full-time student (minimum of nine credits per semester).
